Your mission
We have come a long way since 2022: With a solid coverage in Software Development, Product Management, and Data Analytics, our Product department puts high-quality deliveries to the table. Design, especially Product Design, has always been a core competency and a high priority for Heyflow! Good, solid, and excellent designs are not just “some part of Product”. This is where you might come into place ????
Proactively, you monitor the status quo of the product and make strategic decisions, propose value-based and data-driven approaches, and conduct user research.
Furthermore, it is your responsibility to create UI and UX components with the help of established high standards.
The existing Product Design patterns are already in great use – but will always need some improvements. Your team will develop Design patterns and design systems further.
Together with your team, you will be responsible for every feature and pixel that Heyflow ships to its many customers and even more flow users. The team “only” consists of one person at this point, but we are about to grow the team steadily over the next few years.
You will need to create a strong collaboration with the Engineering and Product departments, to to ensure a flawless Product.
Last but not least, during your work you respect and apply accessibility standards and create inclusive designs.
Your profile
Your professional background means more to us than a university degree. If you already worked in Product Design, either as a senior in various roles or as a Lead/Head in startups, you will be very suitable for this opportunity.
You have led and mentored teams in Product Design before.
In previous jobs, you have worked on supercool web features that look beautiful AND work flawlessly. You know Figma very well to the core. Sketch and Illustrator are a Plus.
You know what customers want and need, and you know how digital products work. With your skills in research, with your empathy, and a creative eye for detail, you understand what is good for users and get stuff done.
You also know what Product Engineers want and need: You have closely worked with Dev teams in the past and understand how they work and operate in the daily business.
Communication is key for every role at Heyflow. It will make your and our lives very easy if you like working together in teams, with Stakeholders, and cross-functional mates.
Speaking of communication: We are an international team and speak English with each other on a daily basis, and so will you. Your English skills need to be on a very good conversational level.
