Your mission

Creative Leadership:

  • Set, communicate, and evangelize the design strategy across the organization.

  • Ensure the quality of execution within the design team, driving impactful initiatives.

  • Demonstrate strong project management and operational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Craft & Quality:

  • Lead the team through delivering high-quality product designs with a strong sense of product thinking, problem-solving, visual design, and aesthetics.

  • Maintain a great eye for design and attention to detail in all deliverables.

  • Oversee the end-to-end design process, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Core Leadership:

  • Mentor and support product designers in their professional growth.

  • Build and nurture a collaborative and creative design team.

  • Proactively identify, hire, and onboard top talent based on skills and cultural fit.

  • Maintain a high standard of team performance through continuous feedback and recognition.

Cross-functional Partnership:

  • Integrate design into the larger product strategy and business objectives.

  • Foster strong collaboration, communication, and partnership skills with non-design partners in the organization.

  • Develop and implement effective processes and routines with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless workflows.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in a senior design leadership role within a tech company or startup/scale-up.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional product design work and a clear sense of product thinking and visual aesthetics.

  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing design teams.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into impactful design strategies.
