AEO / LLM-Search Lead (m/f/d)
Apply nowYour mission
- AEO / GEO / LLM Search (primary focus): Grow Heyflow's visibility across AI-powered search – ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and whatever comes next. Reverse-engineer how models source and rank information, then systematically increase Heyflow's share of voice for high-intent queries. Build the monitoring and measurement infrastructure from scratch.
- Digital PR & Entity Building: Get Heyflow mentioned on the sources that models trust – G2, Capterra, industry roundups, comparison posts, authoritative blogs. Own outreach, relationship building, and placement strategy. This is the highest-leverage AEO tactic and a core part of the role.
- Content Strategy & Production: Plan and produce the content that feeds both AI citations and organic search – comparison pages, use-case content, structured data, knowledge-base articles. Use LLMs to accelerate content production without sacrificing quality.
- Measurement & Experimentation: Build the tracking layer: AI referral traffic, brand mention monitoring across model outputs, share-of-voice dashboards, citation source analysis. Run high-velocity experiments – this field changes weekly, and the playbook doesn't exist yet.
- SEO (secondary focus): Maintain and grow organic search as a channel. Technical audits, on-page optimization, site health. This supports AEO work (the foundations overlap) but is not the primary focus of the role.
- Future scope: LinkedIn, YouTube & Creator Programs: As LLMs increasingly pull from LinkedIn and YouTube, this role will expand to include driving Heyflow's presence on these platforms — thought leadership content, contributor programs, tutorials, comparison videos. We're hiring someone who sees this as an opportunity, not scope creep.
Your profile
- You can reverse-engineer why a model cites source A over source B for a given query – and you know what levers actually influence that. This is the core skill.
- You build with LLMs, not just use them. Scripting bulk prompt tests, automating citation tracking, generating content variations at scale – AI is your infrastructure, not your side tool.
- Strong content strategy background. You can plan and orchestrate high-volume content production that's structured for both human readers and model consumption.
- Digital PR instincts. You know how to get a product mentioned on the sources that matter – and you've done it before, whether you called it PR, link building, or partnerships.
- Highly self-sufficient. You work directly in the CMS, handle technical audits yourself, write and ship structured data, and don't file tickets for things you can do in 10 minutes.
- Analytically rigorous. You'll be inventing the metrics for this channel. You need to be comfortable building dashboards, defining KPIs that don't exist yet, and making budget cases with imperfect data.
- High experimentation velocity. You run 10 tests a week, document what works, and adapt when a new model drops and citation behavior shifts overnight.
- Proven SEO track record – technical and content-driven, not just keyword research.
- Experience with programmatic or scripted workflows (Python, APIs) for monitoring and content automation.
- Background in B2B or SaaS – useful for understanding the buyer, but not required.
- Interest in or experience with creator programs, LinkedIn thought leadership, or YouTube content strategy.
